I get a lot of scepticism from customers when it comes to selling the Primers because they want to know if it really works, particularly from customers who have oily skin. This is because a products that claims to be able to control oil for an extended amount of time is like trying to defy the laws of mother nature, but, I have tried and tested it myself and I swear by it. As a beauty consultant, I don't see any point in trying to plug an item that doesn't produce results because Mary Kay have a refund policy so if you don't like what you see, you get your money back. So far, I have had no refunds with the primer. But, I understand that customers like to see before they buy so I decided to do a test using myself as the....testee I guess (lol).
I applied make-up in the morning and just before I went to bed and I took a picture of my skin to show the results.
I would also like to add that I have combination-oily skin, I get oily in the t-zone areas from midday onwards.
So...
This is moi, fresh face and err hair
..and I tried to get a pic in with the time, which says 10:14 but the pic below will be clearer (don't worry I can't even see the time without my glasses either)
10:14 amSo, hours later, I came back to take the same shots, after I had completed the day. I reapplied my lipstick and re-did my hair, I mean you don't gotta see me looking so trampy, the main focus is the make-up lol!
Sexy poses clearly a #fail
Time stamp below
So in terms of my make-up, it kept intact, did not fall down, the foundation consistency was exactly the same as when it was first applied in the morning.
The oil was also controlled - trust me gals, I usually looks like a used frying pan at the end of the day, a little oil seeped through but I didn't need to touch up throughout the day, and it was an active day! Touching up is annoying for me and for the primer to have controlled the oil the way it did, it gets a thumbs up for me everyday!
So gals, what you waiting for? Like I said earlier, if your not impressed, you get you money back!
Hope your enjoying 2013 so far, I sure am!
